On October 1, 2025, an orientation program was organized for first-year students of the Departments of Forest Engineering and Forest Industrial Engineering.

As part of the program, academic and administrative units located on the Seyitler Campus—home to the Faculty of Forestry—were introduced, and participants were provided with general information. Prof. Dr. Mehmet YAVUZ, Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, delivered an overview of the Departments of Forest Engineering and Forest Industrial Engineering and offered insights into student advising practices. Furthermore, information was shared regarding the city of Artvin and the social and cultural opportunities provided by the University within the city.

Within the Faculty of Forestry building, students toured lecture halls, classrooms, student laboratories, departmental laboratories, and the Wildlife Museum. The program also included visits to the Forestry Practice and Research Center greenhouse, the Industrial Design Practice and Research Center, the Science and Technology Practice and Research Center, and the Artvin Çoruh University Herbarium, all located on the Seyitler Campus. In addition, the social facilities building was introduced, featuring a cafeteria, dining hall, bowling hall, fitness centers, and both indoor and outdoor sports facilities, with detailed explanations regarding their usage.

In the later part of the program, participants were informed about the academic and administrative units situated on the city campus. With the support of the relevant units, visits were made to the Ali Nihat Gökyiğit Congress and Culture Center and the AÇU Library, which concluded the orientation program.
