A productivity meeting was held on April 29, 2025, at the Faculty of Forestry, Artvin Çoruh University, with the aim of strengthening the role of research assistants in academic and administrative processes, improving work organization, and increasing institutional efficiency.

The meeting was attended by Acting Dean Prof. Dr. Mehmet YAVUZ, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Funda ERŞEN BAK, and all research assistants working at the faculty.

In the opening speech of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mehmet YAVUZ highlighted that the goal of the meeting was to foster a shared understanding regarding work discipline, participation in research, and academic responsibilities. He expressed the motivation behind the process with the words, “Our collective goal is to contribute maximally to both our individual development and the academic success of our Faculty.”

During the meeting, information was provided on the new principles and monitoring systems to be implemented by the faculty administration. In this context, improvement-oriented decisions were made in areas such as time management, task submission deadlines, active participation in research, and enhancing the scientific quality of seminars and presentations.

In his closing remarks, Prof. Dr. YAVUZ emphasized that such regular evaluation meetings not only enhance work efficiency but also support the personal and professional development of young academics. He stated that the decisions taken would be periodically reviewed and the process would be systematically monitored.
