Students from the Department of Forest Industrial Engineering at Artvin Çoruh University Faculty of Forestry visited the AÇU Science and Technology Application and Research Center and the AÇU Furniture and Decoration Workshop to enhance their professional knowledge and skills.

During the event, students received detailed information from the staff about the tests and analytical studies conducted in the laboratories. Throughout the visit, they were introduced to various experimental applications and analysis processes related to the anatomical and chemical structure of wood, its physical and mechanical properties, and paper production.

In the continuation of the program, students participated in wood cutting and processing activities carried out at the AÇU Furniture and Decoration Workshop, allowing them to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice. The hands-on training activities aim to enrich students’ sectoral knowledge and contribute to their professional experience.
