An introductory meeting was held by the Forest Firefighting Branch of the Artvin Regional Forestry Directorate at our university’s Faculty of Forestry for students interested in becoming "Forest Firefighting Volunteers." The meeting was attended by Sinan Saatçi, Deputy Regional Director of Artvin Regional Forestry Directorate, and Turgay Vatan, Head of the Forest Pest Control Branch.

Emphasizing the importance of volunteers playing an active role alongside the forestry organization in combating forest fires, Sinan Saatçi explained how volunteers could contribute and the steps to become a Forest Firefighting Volunteer.
