Field Practice of “Remote Sensing in Forestry” Course Held

A field practice was conducted with 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Forestry as part of the Remote Sensing in Forestry course. During the event, students had the opportunity to gain practical experience in the use of remote sensing technologies applied to forestry.

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mehmet YAVUZ, the students practiced using drones for forest monitoring and data collection. After the field activities, they enjoyed a social gathering by preparing çiğ köfte together in the field.

The event contributed to improving students’ technical skills while also fostering teamwork and collaboration among participants.
