Within the scope of the Erasmus+ Programme Teaching Mobility, Botanist Prof. Dr. Dominik Wróbel from the State University of Applied Sciences in Krosno, who visited the Department of Forest Engineering at the Faculty of Forestry of Artvin Çoruh University as a guest lecturer, delivered a presentation entitled “The Role of Natura 2000 Network in the Protection of Forest Habitats: The Example of Southeastern Poland.”
The presentation, attended by our faculty members, research assistants, and students, addressed the protection of forest habitats within the framework of the Natura 2000 network, with a focus on the case of southeastern Poland. Information was shared on conservation approaches, habitat management, and nature conservation practices in Europe.
