Artvin Çoruh University Faculty of Forestry hosted Tekin IŞIK, Deputy Regional Director of Artvin Forestry within the scope of “Alumni Talks”. Mr. Tekin IŞIK, who graduated from the Faculty of Forestry in 2002 and is currently working as the Deputy Regional Director of Artvin Forestry, shared his valuable experiences with the students and guests.
Forestry Engineer Alim Çelik, one of our 1998 graduates, who did not leave Mr. Tekin IŞIK alone and continues to work at Artvin Regional Directorate of Forestry, and Forestry Engineer Gizem Alkan, a 2016 graduate and member of the board of directors of Erzurum Branch of the Chamber of Forest Engineers, also attended the event.
This event offered current students the opportunity to explore the career journeys of their graduates, their experiences in the sector and different career opportunities, while at the same time allowing our graduates to come together and strengthen their professional and personal ties.
Artvin Çoruh University Faculty of Forestry will continue to strengthen its ties with the sector and contribute to the career development of students by continuing such events that offer students and alumni the opportunity to come together and share experiences. The event ended with the presentation of a plaque to Mr. Tekin IŞIK by our Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Mehmet Yavuz.
