The Artvin Çoruh University Faculty of Forestry welcomed Hasan TÜRKYILMAZ, President of the Chamber of Forest Engineers, as part of the "Stakeholder Meetings" program.

Prof. Dr. Atakan ÖZTÜRK, Vice Rector of our university and Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, gave the inaugural statement. Hasan TÜRKYILMAZ spoke on "Turkish Forestry in the Republican Period." The lecture covered the historical evolution of Turkish forestry, including important turning moments, as well as contemporary forestry advances and assessments of the Chamber of Forest Engineers as a professional body.

The program, which was attended by Prof. Dr. Bülent SAĞLAM, Acting Rector of our University, Prof. Dr. Sinan GÜNER, Dean of the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Artvin Forestry Regional Director Assoc. Dr. M. Sinan ÖZKAYA, Trabzon and Erzurum Branch Presidents of the Chamber of Forest Engineers, representatives of the forestry organization and the chamber of forest engineers, and faculty members and students of our faculty, ended with the presentation of a plaque of thanks and gifts to the invited speaker Hasan TÜRKYILMAZ after the question and answer session.
