The 4th Forest Games Olympics, organized by the Turkish Foresters’ Association, was held between July 25–27, 2025 at Gölbaşı Ata Çiftliği in Ankara.

Artvin Çoruh University Faculty of Forestry participated in the event with a team of students consisting of Beyzanur Akpolat, Ülkü Sena Efendioğlu, İklim Polen Özdemir, Nisanur Dalkılıç, Emre Karagül, Mehmet Çelik, Atakan Camcı, and Bahri Sönmez. The team was supervised by Research Assistant Oğuzhan Bilgili, and our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Fatih Temel was also present at the event to support our team.

The organization, which was followed by approximately 700 spectators, hosted a fierce competition among 12 forestry faculties from different regions of Turkey. After competing in various stages such as digital target shooting, log rolling, wood stacking, species identification, log cutting, team walking, and combined events, our team ranked 7th among the 12 faculties.
